In the usual FaitalPRO style, the heart of this 5" is a powerful FEM optimized neodymium magnet assembly equipped with an aluminum demodulation ring. This “engine” gives the 5PR160 the ability to reproduce sound at extremely low distortion levels with a great transient response.

LINEAR
A key goal in designing the 5PR160 was to create an incredibly linear loudspeaker. To do this we incorporated and combined characteristics to obtain the lowest level of distortion possible. The super performing magnet assembly outfitted a custom demodulation ring, provides both phenomenal power and exceptional control over the moving parts of the speaker. The unique design of the spider as well as the cone and surround work in perfect harmony resulting in FaitalPRO’s most innovative 5 inch to date.

The 5PR160 has been carefully designed to provide a high quality acoustical package. It is a versatile speaker with a pure, clean sound. In order to keep unwanted noise at the lowest level possible the speaker has an integrated decompression opening in the magnet assembly which also guarantees optimized cooling of the voice coil.
